We begin with the eye towards the top center of the page.
A letter O shape.
Eyelid and pupil.
Now we're going to bring a line up beside here and add the ear around and end.
And add a dash up over.
Down and out.
Now for the nose.
We come up round and out from the lips.
Back up and add a little curved dash.
Next to the nostrils.
One.
Two.
Dash, dash.
Next is the lower lip.
Rounding up.
In.
And then we're going to add a little bit of fur right here under the chin.
There's a little bit of fur that sticks out here to.
Good.
The little flap of fur and skin under their neck is called a bell.
If they had a little bit of fur under their nose, it would be called a moose stache.
Very From the base of the snout, line up like so.
And then add the eyebrows.
A couple hairs sticking out on top of the head.
Now the other ear.
Up.
Round down a dash.
And now for the fun part.
The antlers really come out up, down around, up down around.
A lot bigger in down around up and in.
Now we want to do a similar shape for the other antler.
This is called symmetry.
Whatever's on the left there's a mirror image on the right.
So we want it to be close.
It doesn't have to be perfect.
And and good job.
Bringing this line down for the neck and the neck goes right into the body around to the back side.
Keep bringing that down for the hind leg.
It's all one movement.
Scribble, scribble, scribble up kneecap up.
And in.
Now back to the front.
There's a little bit of texture there for the fur where I come in and down.
I would add the first of our front legs down, kneecap down, scribble, scribble, scribble and bring it on up.
We're going to connect this front leg to the hind leg.
The other front leg comes out kneecap down.
Scribble, scribble up and in.
The other hind leg just sort of sets back here, down, around, down, scribble and end.
Now for our hooves.
Down over notch and up again.
Down over notch and up down over notch and up, down and in.
Moose are great swimmers.
They can dive up to 20ft and swim six miles an hour.
Their hollo fur actually helps them float.
We're then going to shave those and with a little bit of line shading.
Just simple little lines to color it in just a bit.
And a little bit of a tail back here and some texture.
Just quick rapid little lines to show that it's fur.
A little bit of ground surface.
And lastly, sign your name.
Take pride in your work.
And there he is.
Sorry if you didn't like the dad jokes.
I kind of thought they were amusing.
